MIDWEEK Packing Checklist
It's important to remember all of your equipment so you don't have to buy overpriced gear at the shop on the mountain. We recommend bringing the following items. And remember: If you can't carry it don't bring it. Try to pack LIGHT / under pack. If needed to, we can go to the Laundromat.
GEAR AND CLOTHING:
Snow boots
Snowboard & Boots | Skis & poles & boots (unless you are renting)
Parka or snowboard/ski jacket
Snowbopard/ski pants, snow suits or nylon shell to wear over warm pants
Gloves and/or mittens
Warm Hats
Goggles or Sunglasses
Neck gaiters or Scarf
Helmets
Backpack/Camelback
Combo or key locks
Long Thermal underwear/wicking layer (AVOID COTTON)
Top (1 per day)
Bottom (1 per day)
Insulating layer (fleece pull-over or sweater)
Wool socks (invest in good wool socks, doubling up on regular socks can cause chafing and discomfort)
Street Socks (it is always nice to have a dry pair to change into)
Undergarments
Sleepwear/Loungewear
Dinner Attire
Swim Suit
Flip Flops
TOILETRIES
Eye glasses and/or contact lenses (plus lens cleaner)
Chapstick/Lip Balm
Shampoo | Conditioner | Body Soap
Deodorant
Toothbrush |Toothpaste | Mouthwash | Dental floss (also great for fixing things!)
Sunscreen and After sun cream
Cotton balls and/or swabs
Disposable wipes (or put damp paper towels in zippered plastic bags)
Combs, brushes, hair accessories
Hair products (gel, spray etc.)
Cosmetics & Moisturizer (face and body)
Feminine Hygiene Products
Condoms or Contraceptive Pills
Fingernail clippers, scissors and emery boards
Razors & Shaving Cream
Small scissors | Tweezers
NICE TO HAVE:
Car Travel Items (Print This List!)
Umbrella
Camera (the waterproof kind)
Diary or Organizer
Laptop (Including charger)
Sewing kit
Swiss Army knife or Leatherman tool (Don't keep in your carry on as it will be removed)
Ziplock bags (The freezer ones are usually the best)
CrockPot
Game Cube, PS2, or X-box
Books and/or magazines
DVDs
Sleeping pills | Earplugs
Your own pillow
Things NOT to bring
• Your entire winter wardrobe
• Your entire library, music or written
• Your computer unless it's a laptop
• A large cooler or more than one cooler per group
• Pets (unless you've already cleared it with the lodging site)
• Large Radios / Boom Boxes / Ghetto Blasters
• Anything that should be rack-mounted
• Anything fragile or of value, ex. pictures of family
